AWOL is a free, local newsprint shaped by a true curiosity about everyday life. We turn our attention to the texture and rhythm of the city—to the ordinary, the background noise, the habitual; to the people around us and the stories they tell. Rather than chase spectacle, we pay mind to what’s close at hand: paper and print, word-of-mouth and word-on-the street. We move on our own but never without the motion of others.
